Good bye to Peng Shang and Rachel Daley

It's always hard to say good-bye, so I’ve been procrastinating this post for a while. This Summer we had another bitter-sweet moment, when two of our beloved labmates have graduated from our lab. Our postdoctoral Associate Peng Shang is now a Research Scientist at Doheny Eye Institute, where she continues investigating cellular changes during retinal pigment epithelium (RPE) degeneration, including mitochondrial dysfunction, epithelial mesenchymal transition, autophagy and vesicular trafficking defects in the RPE. Our lab technician Rachel Daley is now a medical student at Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine.

We wish Peng and Rachel all the best in their careers and we miss them deeply!!!
