Congrats & Farewell, Dr. Ghosh!

We recently said a fond farewell to Dr. Sayan Ghosh, as he embarks on the next chapter of his career. Sayan is now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological and Vision Sciences at the SUNY College of Optometry, NYC. Sayan first came to the Sinha Lab in 2015 as a Fulbright-Nehru India Doctoral Research Fellowship exchange graduate student from University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India. He then returned to India to finish his Ph.D. studies and rejoined the lab as a Postdoctoral Fellow and, most recently, as a Research Associate. As a testament to his hard work over the years, Sayan received multiple postdoctoral grants and published numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts during his tenure in the lab. We will certainly miss him but are incredibly proud of his accomplishments and wish him nothing but the best as he starts his independent research program.
